Our project aims to raise awareness and introduce the topic of biological maturity, specifically through teaching the bio-age method of categorising players based on their level of maturity rather than their chronological age category. By doing so, the project seeks to create guidelines for coaches on how to assess players’ developmental speed and degrees of maturity, and how to train, support, and provide opportunities for them to compete and showcase their skills.
This project and its results provide a lot of ground for further development and use of its results. All materials explaining this subject in detail will continue to be available for download from our website and can be used by others to replicate and multiply on local and European levels.
