First BIO-AGE project meeting at H96 Akademie
The first TPM was held in Germany at the 96-Akademie, where six coaches from Akademia Piłkarska Warty Poznań, alongside experts in biological maturation from AWF Poznań (Akademia Wychowania Fizycznego im. E. Piaseckiego w Poznaniu) and Saarland University (Universität des Saarlandes), gathered in Hannover on January 22-23.
During the meeting, coaches and sports staff from both football clubs were introduced to the biological maturation approach, which enables coaches to address each player’s unique developmental needs. This tailored focus is expected to enhance coaching effectiveness, improve player development, and foster club success by creating a more balanced and competitive environment.
The session also involved an exchange of insights on training methods, data analysis, and statistical techniques applicable to sports science, focusing on those that will support our BIO-AGE project goals. Additionally, we toured the sports center, observed an afternoon training session at 96-Akademie, and continued our meeting the following day with a visit to Heinz von Heiden Arena.
Overall, it was a highly productive and successful meeting. The next meeting is planned for May at Akademia Piłkarska Warty Poznań. If you would like to see more photos please follow these link CLICK HERE
