Third transnational meeting at 96-Akademie

Third transnational meeting at Hannover 96

As part of the ongoing journey of the BIO-AGE project, we returned to the inspiring home of Hannover 96 for our third transnational meeting. This collaboration continues to play a vital role in advancing our mission to revolutionize youth sports training by focusing on biological age and maturity.

The meeting brought together partners from Poland and Germany to reflect on progress and shape the project's next steps. We reviewed data and drew conclusions from both BIO-AGE tournaments held during the European Week of Sport, exploring the practical impact of our innovative methodologies. Discussions also highlighted the project's overall implementation so far, identifying key successes and areas for further development. The meeting also focused on planning the final conference, including its content and structure.

As part of the day, we also observed training sessions at the H96 Akademie, where we exchanged best practices in player testing, covering physical, motor, and strength assessments. This hands-on experience underscored the importance of our work in optimizing training and supporting young athletes’ development.
Following a productive day, we embraced the holiday season with a visit to Hannover’s charming Christmas market, enjoying the festive atmosphere and building camaraderie over a delicious dinner in the city center.

This meeting marked another key milestone in the BIO-AGE project, reaffirming our commitment to creating equal opportunities for young athletes and advancing science-driven sports training methods.

Stay tuned for updates as we prepare for the final conference in December in Poznań at AWF Poznań - Akademia Wychowania Fizycznego im. E. Piaseckiego w Poznaniu.
